We are excited to announce that "Parallax" has been accepted to its 8th film festival, the Fallbrook International Film Festival in Fallbrook, California!

Our Festival welcomes diversity in film submissions, seeking quality productions – feature length, shorts, documentaries, student and animation – in all genres. The number one, two and three scoring criteria are: excellence in storytelling, technical execution, and meaningful purpose.
Seemed like a good fit for "Parallax" and they obviously agree! Furthermore, "Fallbrook was also the family home to one of Hollywood’s all-time filmmaking legends Frank Capra during the height of his filmmaking career." And the festival gives a "Capra Award" in the great director's honor. Sounds like an awesome event! The festival runs April 5-7.

We are thrilled to announce that "Parallax" has been named an Official Selection of the 5th Annual Peace on Earth Film Festival.
The festival's mission statement, from their website:
Peace on Earth Film Festival (POEFF) is a not-for-profit festival established to celebrate and encourage the work of independent filmmakers from around the globe on the themes of peace, nonviolence, social justice and an eco-balanced world. POEFF invites filmmakers’ challenging perspectives on issues such as human rights, neighborhood violence, food deserts, domestic violence, bullying, war, world politics, environment, economics and more, while presenting alternatives of peace from all cultural perspectives. Through the power of motion pictures, POEFF endeavors to enlighten and empower individuals, families and communities to step out of the ignorance of conflict, violence and divisiveness into the light of communication, compassion and understanding.
2013 Peace On Earth Film Festival will be hosted by the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and will take place in the historic Chicago Cultural Center's Claudia Cassidy Theater, beginning Thursday, March 7, through Sunday, March 10, 2013.
Admission is free and open to the public.

We are pleased to announce that the New Year has kicked off to an amazing start with the news that "Parallax" is one of seven drama films selected for the 2013 Love Your Shorts Film Festival.
Love Your Shorts runs February 15-17, 2013 at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in Sanford, Florida. "Parallax" screens in the Drama block on Sunday, February 17 at 1 pm. More information about the program can be found here, and tickets can be purchased through this link.
